Recorded in April of 2023 at Sun studios in Memphis, "Fire and Rain" was recorded right after a tornado warning and it was still raining and in the evening. Five microphones were used including one in the doorway to get traffic and rain sounds, a couple room mics and even one from Sam Phillip's tape machines from back in the day. Greg really wanted you to feel like you were in the studio that night with him.
